Default Indent formatting template settings

Hello

I have several large files of specs comprised of data as shown below. Each one has different indent spacing. In an attempt to standardize the formatting a template was created. The task now is to bring these other files into line as simply as possible. I'd love some ideas. Thanks for reading!

* TEMPLATE FORMAT EXAMPLE
Code:
PART 1 - XYZ

1.1        TEST

     A.     Test more tests.
     B.     Second test.

             1. Last test
             2. Almost last test.

PART 2 - EXAMPLE OVER
* OUTDATED FORMAT EXAMPLE

Code:
PART 1 - XYZ

1.1 TEST

A.   Test more tests.
B.   Second test.

    1.    Last test
    2.    Almost last test.

PART 2 - EXAMPLE OVER
