The more recent Adobe Acrobat Reader updates delete all older Adobe Acrobat products from your system - Adobe's not content with updating just the Reader. Maybe there's a compatibility issue between the more recent Adobe Acrobat Reader updates and the older Adobe Acrobat products, but the user is given little warning about the consequences of allowing the updates to proceed. Tough if utilities on your system automatically update the Adobe Acrobat Reader...
