Creating a form with longer, generic answers that users can just pick & choose?
I have a form that has a series of questions and a series of generic answers based on the situation. The user is to pick and choose the most appropriate answers to the question. At first I though a simple drop-down text box in the developer tab would be fine, but some of the answers are very long and exceed the character limit. What are some way around this or other options? Some of the users are inexperienced in Word so as-simple-as-possible answers are appreciated.

Take a look at the AutoTextList field and the Building Blocks Gallery Content Control.

Do you really need more than 256 characters as a dropdown choice? It'd be impossible for most users to even see the whole of that option...
A better approach would be to have simple options for the users to choose from and automate the display of the corresponding output. The attached document shows how to do that, employing a ContentControlOnExit macro to display the corresponding text for each item. For items with an output of up to 256 characters, the output text can be stored in the Content Control's 'Value' property. For longer strings it's stored in the macro code itself. You can access the macro code via Alt-F11.
