How to Change a special Character in Word 2019
Youtube uses a special character to separate username and comments during live events. I need to find and replace this special character for something else while I'm editing comments in word. This special character couldn't be printed here so, I attached a very small image file showing it.
Any Help would be very valuable. Best Regards, Julio Borges - Rio de Janeiro - Brazil |

Here is from Nonprinting Formatting Marks:
The character that Word calls “No-Width Optional Break” corresponds to the Unicode character 200C, “Zero Width Non-Joiner.” Both this character and U200B, “Zero Width Space,” are represented by a rectangle enclosing an open rectangle: |

You helped me a lot. With your information I found a way to search and replace the the "Unicode Character 'Zero Width Space' (U+200B).
I opened the search and replace (Ctrl + H) and typed (using the numeral keyboard): Alt+8203 on the search box and the character to be replace in the replace box. Worked like a breeze. I also found more info in: Unicode Character 'ZERO WIDTH SPACE' (U+200B) It will save me hundreds of hours if I had to find one by one and replace by hand. Could you help me to understand what you mean to document extract? Best Regards, |
