Default Word 2016

Can someone help me to stop the drop down menu with paste options appearing in the middle of my text. It is annoying and makes it dificult to read through it. If I want o paste anything I can make my own mind up on it.

TA.

You need to change your profile in the forum. I reflects Word 2007. Are you still using Windows 7?

File > Options > Advanced > Copy, Cut and Paste
Uncheck the option to show the Paste Options when you paste.

Sorry I did not beleive my profile took presedent of the software I am using. I am curently using Win7/64 Office 2016 home and student.
I only recently got 2016. I did buy 2019 but it would only work with W10 and my PC hardware is not up to W10. I would still like help with this annoying drop down in the middle of my typing.
