How to have Headers/Footers for pages consist of tables
Hi,
I have two text files that are about 50 pages which they are translation of each other, and would like to have them in a few file face-to-face. I have a problem to create/edit page Headers/Footers. In order to see what I have here, Please make a new file> insert>tables>choose two in row cells (2x1)>insert 5 pages of text to each table cells, So now you have 5+ pages, consists of two face to face tables. Now try to place page Headers & footers & page numbering for these 5+ pages, as such that you would be able to edit each page Headers & Footers. Thanks [split from https://www.msofficeforums.com/word/...suitable.html] Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 02-03-2021 at 02:16 PM. Reason: refer to previous question |

Henry, please construct the sample document and attach here. Do not ask volunteers to construct something so they can help you.
How to attach a file in this forum. Traditional headers in Word are what are called running headers. They apply to a section of a document consisting of more than one page. A StyleRef Field can be used in such a header to change the content of the header depending on the content of the page so it can seem like it is a different header. For Word, it is the same header, though. Are you asking about inserting a table in a header? You can. I think what you want is the ordinary header using the StyleRef Field. |
