Question How to view unrelated documents side-by-side

I have Word 2019 on Windows 10. I know that I can compare two versions of the same file. However, I have two files that represent the same thing, an English translation of the book of Romans in the Bible (I am a doctor but it is NT studies. I can help someone with Koine Greek but I can't help much in a medical emergency beyond first aid :-) ) but they are different. I need to be able to compare document A to document B. I want to do this on one view, not have to alt-tab line after line after line. I tried to make compare do this but it didn't want to do a file that had a different title. Can this be done? Thanks.
