advance by page function in Word
there used to be a little double arrow function down the right hand side of a document in Word that allowed you to advance through a document page by page; it doesn't seem to appear in the standard template. can that function be customised in, or has it disappeared?

That was last in Word 2010 and is called the Object Browser.
You can use Ctrl+G to open GoTo and select what it is you want. You can vote in UserVoice to add this back, but do not hold your breath. Microsoft thinks we do fine without it. Also use the feedback mechanism in Word. |

You could use a pair of macros to achieve the functionality required, with buttons on the QAT (Quick Access Toolbar) or Ribbon to call then e.g.
Code:
Sub GoToNextPage() Selection.GoTo What:=wdGoToPage, which:=wdGoToNext, Count:=1 End Sub Sub GoToPreviousPage() Selection.GoTo What:=wdGoToPage, which:=wdGoToPrevious, Count:=1 End Sub

You can also right-click on the vertical scrollbar, which gives a variety of scroll-to options.
