I know I can click a picture in Word and add a caption to make it auto numbering. Can I somehow do the same for the pictures that are inside content controls? (Developer -> Controls -> Picture Content Control)

What have you tried?

Clicking the picture with right mouse button and seeing the "Insert Caption..." is disabled unlike with pictures that are _not_ inside a content control.

OK. I am having problems with my CPU fan and need to go off for a while. If no one else addresses this, I will look into it this weekend.

That would be nice

Select the Content Control, itself. (Click on the title Tag for the control.)

Then the Insert Caption button on the References tab becomes active and you can insert a caption. (It is not available through a right-click.)
