Insert Block Quote into Numbered List
Hello,
I often create numbered lists with multiple paragraphs separated by soft returns as shown. I may then want to add a block quote between paragraphs. The block quote is supposed to be indented 1/2" from the rest of the text, but with the soft returns I can't indent just that block. What is the best way to do this? Thanks, |

You could include a tab in front of the block quote to get extra indentation but ultimately you 'should' be using paragraphs and paragraph styles instead of line breaks.

If you follow the instructions in this article, you do not need to use soft returns. Your numbering is assigned to a style. To continue the numbering, apply the style.

Also, it is relatively simple to Assign a Keyboard Shortcut to a Style.
