Unable to access picture layout settings.
I am trying to align pictures in a document so that they line up at the top with the line of text. (By default the text lines up with the bottom of the picture.) I have found the settings for Layout under Picture Tools, and the tab labelled "Position" would seem to do the trick, except that it is grayed out so I can't access the settings. Does anyone know why this would be grayed out and how I can change the layout settings for my pictures? |

Make sure that the Text Wrapping for each picture is set to something other than "In line with text." That way, you should get access to the positioning options.

Yes, that worked. Thank you. I hadn't changed that because I do want to align it with the text, just not in the manner it defaults to. Word's logic and mine don't always mesh very well.
