Fit print to printable area
In a previous version of Word, when printing a page that has content outside the margins, the page used to print "within the printable area". The entire page was shrunk to fit within the physical margins. None of the content was cut off by the printer's limitations.
The option I have now in Word is to "Scale to paper size", which is not the same thing. I don't want to have to adjust the margins and all the content. I'm using the same printer but newer version of Word. This appears to be possible with other software, pdf printers for example. Is it possible in the latest version of Word? I have searched everywhere for an answer Thanks |

Word has never worked that way.

It has always warned of content outside the printable area but truncated content if the user ignores it. This is at least since Word 97.
