Default Aggravation with Word and CTRL+SHIFT sequence

In Word 2019, I frequently use CTRL+SHIFT+RIGHT ARROW to select text to the right. However, somewhat frequently my pinkie finger goes too light on - or entirely misses - the right arrow, leaving me with only pressing CTRL+SHIFT.

When that happens, the current paragraph becomes right aligned.

I see no documentation in Word or even in any forum that CTRL+SHIFT right aligns a paragraph.

I have looked for macros or key assignments that would explain this, but there is nothing that I can find.

I even thought of assigning that key combination to something equal to NULL (maybe a macro that types a space and then backspaces it or similar), but Word does not offer the option to assign CTRL+SHIFT to anything.
It is frustrating. Suggestions other than doing pinkie exercises so that it doesn't miss?

Here, Ctrl+Shift does nothing in Word. Ctrl+R is for aligning text to the right.

Which command, if any, is assigned to Ctrl+Shift in the Customize Keyboard dialog box on your system (in Word, click File > Options > Customize Ribbon > Customize)?

Thanks for the reply, Stefan. I hadn't thought to look at it from the perspective of Customize Keyboard. I was hopeful, but unfortunately I cannot find any keyboard customizations that are associated with CTR+Shift. I likewise looked through the "All Commands" section of the Customize Ribbon because I have done a few such customizations, but nothing I can find for CTRL+SHIFT.
Really odd, and frustrating. Really appreciate your suggestion and welcome any other ideas.

Do you know of any way to do this in revers? In other words, find a list of custom and standard assigned key combinations and then select the one you want to investigate? I believe an older version of Word had that but I [I've been a Word user since it installed from a single 720K floppy disk], but I don't see that option here. Am I missing anything?

You can test a specific keyboard shortcut in the Customize Keyboard dialog box. Click in the "Press new shortcut key" field and enter the shortcut that you want to test. Word will tell you which command the shortcut is assigned to (if any).

Another possibility is to print a list of (custom) key assignments, via File > Print.

I do not see my Customize Keyboard responding to only the use of Ctrl+Shift. Some other key must be used with these shift keys.

I would suspect a faulty keyboard.

Good point, Charles. Ctrl+Shift might be one of those key combinations that you can't assign in Word.
