Here, Ctrl+Shift does nothing in Word. Ctrl+R is for aligning text to the right.

Which command, if any, is assigned to Ctrl+Shift in the Customize Keyboard dialog box on your system (in Word, click File > Options > Customize Ribbon > Customize)?
