Sark is on a distinguished road
Default Closing Word (issue with cursor timer).

Hi all.

When I close Word (2010) it will close quickly enough, but my cursors circular timer (Win 7) will run for about five secs afterwards during which time it will not open other programs etc.

This is not a huge delay I know, but I only have to open a doc, copy some text, and after closing the doc without editing, the cursors timer hangs for five second or so.
Auto Save etc is turned off and it happens without any editing.

If I open a doc and do absolutely nothing it will usually close without the issue.

FYI I recently did a complete fresh install (running off an SSD).

Whilst not a huge hassle, it's annoying none the less.

Anyone encountered this issue.

Mark
