Preserve Seq Fields when Copying to Another PC
Hi,
I would like to know that i have made Seq Field to automatically number the photos inserted in ms word file. The sequence works fine. However, when the file is opened in another PC, the field is converted to plain text. Is there any way to preserve this so that whenever the file is shared with anyone, the sequencing is kept intact? Thank you. Regards, Syed Osama |

SEQ fields should definitely be preserved when the document is opened by someone else.
Is the other PC perhaps using some other word processor than Word?

Thank you Stefan for replying.
No, infact, both laptops have Windows 10. I Have office 2019 while the other one has Office 365 However, I may have made a small mistake in my query. . Its not a SEQ field, rather a Field with category AutoNumLgl in the file that i have emailed to other person. |

AUTONUMLGL fields should also be left intact. They have been supported since 1997 (possibly longer than that).
Can you share the file? You can upload it as an attachment here (be sure to remove any sensitive information first).
