A line appears every time I attempt to bullet point a list - and I can't get rid of it. It's the same sort of line that one can create by holding down the underline keyy (slightly darker and margin to margin, which I sometimes use as a break).



If I delete it or the text, the line just rises to the line above.

I know MS-Word fairly well but can't figure this one out.

Any suggestions?
