Default Changing comment view to old style

Hi all

I have done a lot of digging to try find out how I can get the old comment view back...as you can see on the new view, there is no line linked to the comment and when you scroll down the document, the comments don't move with their position in text. I have Office 365 for Mac and on my macbook and IMac; on the Imac the view is fine, its just on my Macbook I am having this issue.

edit - here is an article on it, but no solution on how to get old view back....Comment View change in Word and Office - Office Watch

I am not on a Mac so this may not work for you.

I turn off balloons for comments.
This puts a little blue talk balloon in the right margin to note that there is a comment there. On mouse-over, it selects the target of the comment and clicking on it pops the comment up.

Still not the old method, but I like it. It is close.

Thanks heaps, I appreciate the response. It's not preference, really wish I could revive the old view!
