If the Non-wildcard method doesn't reduce your paragraph marks then I am running out of ideas. In English the ^p appears if I select Special>Paragraph Mark. Do you get a different combination on a Dutch machine?
It's the same with the dutch version, I also get ^p when selecting paragraph mark.

I'll let it rest for now and hopefully I'll figure it out later.
