Macro on Ribbon takes up too much space
GMayor: Success! Thanks a lot!
But there's a (little) catch: in the new ribbon tab created, the entire pathname of the new macro is displayed. Consequently, the tab is abnormally wide. Is there a way to display the short macro name instead of the whole pathname? [Split from this thread by moderator] Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 08-02-2020 at 05:39 AM. |

Modify the XML rather than do your ribbon modification through the user interface.
Customize the Ribbon (It doesn't take rocket science) by Greg Maxey This is definitely a step beyond what you have been doing. Or, put it on the QAT instead of the Ribbon. Modifying the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) in Microsoft Word |
