Default Word 2019 page break without having to use Show/Hide

How do I get page breaks to appear in Word 2019, without having to use Show/Hide (which shows a lot more that I need).
I could do this in Word 2010 though File/Options/Advanced, but even then I would have to this for every docx.

Thanks... but I only work in superior Draft View.
I would just like in Word 2019 Draft View, for all docx files to to default to showing ...Page Break ...
just like with old doc format does, without using Show/Hide.

It appears that this option is no longer available, but you might be able to do it by saving to an older format. See Suzanne's reply at the end of this linked thread for an explanation.

If there is no solution, I will have to save all documents to "Word 97-2003" format.

The suggestion, actually, is for Word 2010 mode, not .doc format.
This problem started with Word 2013.

Here is the macro:
Code:
Sub Word2010CompatibilityOn()
'
' Word2010CompatibilityOn Macro
'
'   Charles Kenyon
'   Written for WordArt Add-In
' Converts Active Document to Word 2010 format
    Dim Result As Long
    Result = MsgBox(prompt:="This will convert this document to Word 2010 format. You will lose any features added in later versions." & _
        vbCr & "Are you sure?", Title:="Word 2010 Conversion Warning", Buttons:=vbInformation + vbYesNo)
    On Error GoTo SkipConversion ' in case this is run in an earlier version of Word
    If Result = vbNo Then GoTo SkipConversion
    ActiveDocument.SetCompatibilityMode (wdWord2010)
    MsgBox "Conversion completed. If you are using Word 2013 or later, you should see Compatibility Mode in the Title Bar.", vbInformation, "Done"
    On Error GoTo 0
    Exit Sub
SkipConversion:
    MsgBox "Conversion skipped", vbInformation, "OK"
    On Error GoTo 0
End Sub
