Can't log in: White dialog box when trying to sign in in MS Word

I tried reinstalling MS Office 365 but I'm having the same issue.

I think I've heard that this will not work.

There have been problems noted previously with blank Ribbons that were addressed by installing the 64-bit version of Office. I have no idea whether this is related.

Yes, I'm using Win 7. Is there a workaround to this? Goddammit now I'm on a trial version of MS Offfice, expiring on the 19th.

Have you tried using a different browser? Or starting your browser with all the extensions disabled?

I tried signing in the program itself, in MS Word, not browser.

I am not sure this is the problem but it could be.
