Security problem? "This macro can't be found or is disabled."
When I try to run a macro is get this message:
"the macro can't be found or is disabled" I've checked the security settings and all seems OK. What could the problem be? Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 07-12-2020 at 02:10 PM. Reason: add info to title |

One possibility is that the macro is not there.
How are you attempting to start the macro? Can you find the macro in the vb Editor? |

Security problem
I am access he macro from the Quick Access toolbar and yes I verified that the macro is in my normal module. Would PowerToys have anything to do with it?

Try reassigning it to your QAT and see what happens.
Modifying the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) in Microsoft Word When you assign it, store the QAT modification in the normal template, not "for all documents." I doubt if Power Toys is causing this problem, but if reassigning your macro to the QAT does not work, try starting Word without Power Toys operational and see. I think it had been 20 years since I looked at Power Toys. i see they have been reborn. Windows Insider |

You sometimes get that message when a macro that is not 64 bit compatible is run on a 64 bit version of Word, as I discovered recently in response to a problem with one of my add-ins.

Security problem
Solved. I figured it out. I had an error in another macro. When I fixed that it fixed my issue. Thanks for persevering with me.
