Mail merge: strange comparison error
Please see the attachments for the mail merge issue. The result expected by me should have been: 1A ... 1D ... 2C ... 3B ... 3D ... But it turns out to be: 1A ... (1D added under 1A) 2C ... 3B ... (3D added under 3B as well) I believe the error is caused by the comparison in the field codes (i.e. <>) but I couldn't figure out where the error is. If I make a change to the data, 1A --> F1A The error disappears. Thanks for any help in advance! Last edited by tinfanide; 07-04-2020 at 01:32 AM. |

Self-solved by adding double quotation marks around Place1 and Place2.
