Copying Text and Formatting into A Word Template
Hi,
We have numerous letterhead word templates that have a first page with header and footer and automated continuation pages with just a header logo. Our customers are now asking how do they paste the text with formatting and tables from the word file they have into their templates. I have tried copying using Insert > Text > Object > Text from File, this copies the text and formatting but all it does it put pages at the end of the document and doesn't flow them into the continuation pages, If I type information into the template the continuation pages automatically populate. can anyone tell me where I am going wrong thanks in advance Paul |

If your introduced text includes section breaks then the page setups and header/footers from those section breaks will be in your document.
Make sure there isn't any section breaks getting added to the doc.

Are we talking about adding to a document (.docx) or a template (.dotx) file?
