Table of contents puts page number next to heading
Hi,
I have a document that has a table of contents problem. For the scope heading in the document it puts the page number right next to the heading. For all the other headings it puts the page number on the other side of the page. The attached file show the issue with the page number for the scope heading right next to the scope and all the other page numbers on the far right side of the page. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Jeff Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 06-18-2020 at 09:11 AM. Reason: Changed from picture in attached document to picture |

When you want to show us a picture, attach it directly, do not put it in a document.
Under View, show your rulers and you likely will see what is happening. There is a default tab setting in your TOC style that gets invoked with the very short entry. See TOC Tips and Tricks by Suzanne Barnhill, MVP. |
