Word 2016: Header/Footer conflict
Somehow what should be "FIRST PAGE HEADER -SECTION 17" has been overlayed with "FIRST PAGE FOOTER -SECTION 17" resulting in total confusion for the rest of the document (one page for each line of text). There are two bars on the right side of the header box suggesting that the desired header box is hiding behind the footer overlay.
SAME AS PREVIOUS is correctly on. Any suggestion appreciated. |

Delete the section break that follows that section and see if the new header footer is correct. If so, re-insert the section break.

Footer/header conflict
Thanks for the suggestion. Had other reasons to think that the file was corrupted. So I figured that it was easier to open the backed-up previous version and redo a small amount of work.
