Word 2003 - Re - Toolbar Drawing / Snap To Grid
Word 2003
Windows 7 Home Premium I prefer Snap Objects To Grid disabled. So I Uncheck (Blank) the box in the Drawing Grid dialog. When I open another session of Word 2003, the default returns to a Checked Snap Objects To Grid box . How do I permanently disable "Snap Objects To Grid" for all Word 2003 sessions, unless I choose ? Here is a macro:
Code:
Sub SnapToGridOff() ' ' SnapToGridOff Macro ' Turns Snap to Grid off ' Application.Options.SnaptoGrid = False End Sub Run the macro and then close and reopen Word. Does the setting stick? If not, rename the macro AutoExec and put it in your normal.dot template. Instructions for Installing Macros from Forums or Websites by Graham Mayor, MVP |

Word 2003 - Re - Toolbar Drawing / Snap To Grid
Charles Kenyon
I created the macro and saved it as normal dot template. C:\Users\Me\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates I named it SnapToGidOff as suggested. All seems to work fine. Thanks for the link too. |
