Insert a Blank Page without Page Number
Ok. I will do the best I can to describe this. I found a couple things in the forums but the findings were for like 2007. I'm using office 365. I have a pdf that I converted to word for editing. It came along with page numbers with headers that are specific to the book. Now I am editing the word with a study guide that sometimes overshoots the page. I wanted to try and upload it but its too big. Here is a share link to one drive to get it. You might have to download it to see the page numbers. Microsoft services
If you scroll down to page 17, Blank, 18. That is perfect and word did that on its own. Bottom of 17 "parts of the fellowship (our common" : Blank problem) and this book" etc etc: page 18 "An illness of this sort. Down on page 52 what I have to type will overshoot but it's not putting in a blank page like before. Moves what on 53 down and keeps 53 page number which offsets the document from the textbook. I hope I explained it well enough for you to understand. Thank you for the advice. |

Could you simply pulls just a few pages to illustrate the issue and attach that? That will make viewing the doc much easier. Some companies block HTML redirects.

Here is a link to a folder of snips I took of the pages I want to happen at page 52. Notice the header has the page number.
I will test it once this passes through moderator to make sure it works or I might have to attach each snip seperately. there is only 3. |

Now notice this little tidbit as i look at the photos
Before i learned how to use footnotes you see I typed *2 which might be the entire problem. I noticed around page 21 i figured out footnotes and that might be my problem. But there has to be a workaround for what I am after cause the footnote thing is awesome. In the photo you see where i put *2 typed in. Above that you see 27 and the footnote happens below.

Trying the attach actual file of snips of screen
Sorry was away for a few days. On my end i see the screenshot in my post. I will try to attach them. There will be 4 total pages. that explain what I am after and since I have not been on my computer for a week I haven't tried my theory for why it worked early.

It would really help to have a sample document with the problem.

OK on my screen I see the document posted
I don't know what you are seeing on your screen. I cannot figure out how many other ways you want it posted. Or at the very top click the link and download the 2MB file. I have spoken in english a few times.

You have posted pictures - mages - of a document, not a document. Just as I can't drive a picture of a car, I cannot figure out the structure of a document from a picture. There are often different ways to get something in a document to look a particular way; the document contains information on what is happening that does not show up in a picture of the document.
Anytime you try to edit a document converted from another format you will have headaches. Conversions do not make for perfect fits. Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 05-29-2020 at 04:22 PM. |

Just as a mechanic can't diagnose a car problem from a picture of your car, we can't diagnose a Word problem with pictures of your Word document. |

We generally don't like to download things from the cloud--particularly large files. In addition, many of us access the site from work, and many workplaces block public cloud storage.
That's why we have been asking you repeatedly to 1. Create a small Word file containing just the affected pages 2. Attach it to your post. That will allow us to help you in the most efficient manner possible. |

I don't know how to save 5 pages out of 600. Ok word save as this but only page 17 thru 30.

If you can read and look at the screen shots you get an uinderstanding of what i have said. I can look back and look at the screen shots with what I described in the first message and understand what is said. Don't understand all of your excuses.
