Default calculate total of drop-down values in Word 2007

I have created 3 column form in Word 2007 with drop-down values using form fields. I need a total value for each column. In the total section, I have tried Ctrl+ f9 then the formula : {={REF Dropdown1}+{…} \#0} and keep getting the Syntax Error message. All fields have identifiers and Calculate on exit has been checked. I'm doing something wrong. Can you help? I've only been working in the first column "Join...Trust". Attached is the document.
Thank you!

Three issues:
1. Your formula fields lack the required space between 'REF' and 'Dropdown' (e.g. you have 'REFDropdown1' instead of 'REF Dropdown1');
2. You have employed typed braces (i.e. { }) instead of inserting field braces via Ctrl-F9, as a result of which you've also failed to maintained the required pairing (e.g. {= { REFDropdown1} +{REFDropdown2} +/#0} } instead of {= { REF Dropdown1} +{REF Dropdown2} \# 0}); and
3. You've messed up the numeric picture switch (e.g. +/#0 instead of \# 0)

Thanks you so much for your quick response! Sorry. Pretty sloppy work on my part. I've tried fixing things, but am still getting a syntax error. Is this the correct formatting? Field brace (at the bottom of the "Join...Trust) ={REF Dropdown1}+{REF Dropdown2} \#0} Field Brace. I'm not sure about the spacing.

See attached. The field coding is rather more sophisticated than what you had.

Oh, I didn't realize that Ctrl + F9 go around each "REF Dropdown" expression. Now instead of Syntax Error, I'm getting: !Undefined Bookmark, CHOOSE. I've attached undated document.
