Default calculate total of drop-down values in Word 2007

I have created 3 column form in Word 2007 with drop-down values using form fields. I need a total value for each column. In the total section, I have tried Ctrl+ f9 then the formula : {={REF Dropdown1}+{…} \#0} and keep getting the Syntax Error message. All fields have identifiers and Calculate on exit has been checked. I'm doing something wrong. Can you help? I've only been working in the first column "Join...Trust". Attached is the document.
Thank you!
jfb
