Hello,
I am wondering if this is possible. Can you have a dynamic date (todays date) automatically show up only on the last page of a document, but it must appear the same exact position, but only on that last page. I cannot use a footer, because that is every page, and if I put it at the bottom of the page and the regular info goes for more pages, it just appears at the end of that text area, as it moves with the text. I am working on trying making a stationary type documents, so the body will sometimes be filling up more than one page. I just want the date to appear at the bottom of the last page. Is this possible, and if so how is done? In FileMaker, we have an option to make what's called a title header and footer, so it only appears on the first or last page, regardless of how many pages it needs. So, I am looking for something similar. thanks! |

I may be on to something. Does anyone know how to set up a condition in the footer on a mac.
Something that would be like this: {IF {PAGE} = {NUMPAGES}"Today’s Date 8/18/10"} Basically, if the page I am on is the total number of pages, then print the footer, else nothing. Something like that??? Does anyone know how to maybe help we with this code for the MAc version of Word? Thanks babs |
