For years I have used WordPerfect for my word processing needs. Because WS Word is the standard and I am always having to take extra steps saving and sending documents, I’ve decided to make the switch to Word. My problem - I own an older mobile home park and I send an invoice each month to the tenants. With WordPerfect, I was able to make a template, and have a prompt box open with the template in which I could put their name, amount, space number, etc. It would then put the information in the appropriate location or multiple locations. At times I need to fill out legal papers in which each bit of information (name, etc) might have to be put in a number of locations.
Could you tell me how to create such a prompt type of box or whatever to fill out a particular template? I’m a newbie here and will appreciate any advise. |

I forgot to ask, what such a drop down box or whatever is called. In WP while creating a macro there is a command called "Create Prompts". I've looked for "prompts" in the hel[p file to no avail. I'm guessing such a procedure is called something else in Word.
