Default Adjusting header size to allow type to move up

Hi,

I am creating numerous different style letterhead templates, I add the bespoke footers and headers which are cropped PDFs, when I have a small continuation logo I need to make the header smaller to allow the text to move up slightly, and I can't find how to do this it seems to be set at a certain size, is this possible, Just to let you know I don't use word alot and have been thrown into the deep end on these

thanks in advance

Paul
