Hi
I have a blog with text without pictures. When I do a backup I get an XML file. Is there a way to clean the file in Word? I just want to save the text I wrote (without extra information) as a Word file thanks my blog adress- yshabat.blogspot.com |

XML is not a WYSIWYG format so the exported data is not in a form that Word can easily edit. You could choose to import the XML into Word as the raw xml content (in which case you need to understand xml tagging to make edits). It is just as easy to open this in a text editor like Notepad.
Certainly, Word is not the best application to use to 'clean' xml data. What do you plan to do with content you have edited in Word? Your Blog software should have a WYSIWYG editor that allows you to paste in content from applications like Word.

Thanks for your response,
I would like to edit the information I put into the blog, and maybe publish it as a book. I understand that the only way is to clear the file manually. |
