Default How to select object area in excel to embed into word

I've got pretty basic knowledge of software. I'm trying to embed an excel object into word. But when I do this it cuts off the bottom of my table. How can I 'select' an object area so it embeds the whole table into word?

Your description suggests the embedded object is too large to fit on a single page. Embedded objects cannot span page breaks; anything that extends beyond the page cannot be displayed.

It fits within a 'printed' area. As in, if I go to print it, it will fit on one page without any adjustments. The table/object area I'm trying to embed is actually quite small (5 cells across and 12 cells down - it is the bottom of the table it is cutting off).

Just checked - if I were to print on an A4 size paper, the table takes up just under half a page in length

In that case, it can be difficult for anyone to diagnose the issue without actually seeing the problem document. Can you attach a document to a post with some representative data (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

I have attached an empty table of what I am wanting to embed (if it worked and attached properly). It is the same size etc. It is cutting off the bottom 2 rows,

Ok, now it's working, and I didn't change anything, apart from close the documents and reopen them, even though I had done that before too. But I did it so many times before and nothing would work. Thank you anyway

In that case, it might just be a display driver issue. Download and install the latest drivers for your computer's screen display.
