Cropping Embedded Excel Files
Dear all,
We have a word report where we have an embedded excel file (which has two sheets, one with formulae). Cropping the 'view port' to alter what is shown in Word is an absolute nightmare and some people who have 32 bit rather than 64 bit cant even seem to alter the 'view port'. Does anyone have any ideas on how to work with Word and Excel more effectively as we are wasting hours every day on this. Many thanks in advance, Alex |

When you open an embedded Excel object, it will have a border with handles for resizing. See attached pic, with three of the six handles marked. Dragging those handles in/out will contract/expand the visible sheet by one row/column at a time.
Obviously, if someone has Word zoomed in too much to show the handles, they might have to scroll around or reduce the zoom to find them. Beyond that, you'll need to be more descriptive than merely saying it's "an absolute nightmare".
