Keep format of source value
I have two tables, source and destination.
The source table contains formatted values. The cells of the destination table contains formulas referring to cells in the source table. Is it possible to keep the format of the source cells ? I cannot use VBA |

How are you referencing the source values?

To retain the formatting of the value of a particular cell, you need to either:
• bookmark that value and reference that bookmark, not the table bookmark; or • apply the same numeric picture switch to your formula field as the cell you're referencing.

How to refer to a cell in other table ? I bookmarked that cell, but =sum{bookmark} gives an error. In my source table there is no numeric picture switch |

Via a cross-reference (i.e. Insert|Cross Reference).
Make sure you haven't included the end-of-cell marker in the bookmark.
