I have been using Word, and before that WordPerfect for years and years. I've always been able to print to the printer. For some reason, I can't do that. I went to the print dialog. I chose the rponter I want to u se, the same HP printer that I have been suing for over a year. Scrolling down the printer list, I see "Print to file" but there is no checkmark next to it. Still, if I click the print button, it wants to know what file I want to write to. This is maddening. Everything I look at tells me it should not do this but it does anyway. What's the solution? Word help only takes me to the print dialog. It does not tell me how to fix this.
