Creating a list of Acronyms / Abbreviations
Hi guys, is it possible degenerate a list of acronyms in word? I did a little Google search and found that there is a way to do it by use of TA or Index. I had a go with it but I didn't find it all that practical because every time you mark the view switches to the code view. Also at the end it lists page numbers too. I just need a simple list.
I also found an addin online which can produce a list of 3 capital letters or more. Really useful actually but it's not bulletproof because some of the acronyms could be two capital letters like MS (Mass Spectrometry), or mixture mAb (monoclonal antibody), or not capital at all e.g. (for example). Was wondering if there is is a workaround or anyway to deal with acronyms in Microsoft Word since acronym list is an essential part of technical writing. Thanks guys. |

Thanks. Unfortunately I do not know how to work with Macros or import them. I can load in add ins but don't know how to load in raw macros.
