![]() I don't want to make a comparison of the content but compare layout things. Are the tables correctly formatted and in the same position etc. And my question was not about a comparison of two documents but two pages in the same document in the print preview. But anyway, thank you for your feedback. |

Ok, obviously the 'compare tool' has some kind of functionality to compare pages in the same document, even for layout issues. But what I need is not a tool, but a simple scroll function in the print preview without 'fade in/out effects' - as it is available in acrobat reader (and the older word versions).

So why are you not using Word's Compare Tool? What you're after is as simple as having Word toggle the comparison document between the Original Markup and Final Markup views - all without having to act like you're watching tennis on-screen.
