Default Can I group any footnotes on any page i want?

Hello!

I want to group some of my footnotes in the bottom of a page I select. Is that possible?

Example.:
Footnote marker 3 is on page 12 but footnote 3 is on page 15
Footnote marker 4 is on page 13 but footnote 4 is also on page 15
Footnote marker 5 is on page 14 but footnote 5 is also on page 15

etc

regards
Kungen

No. Such grouping is best done via Endnotes configured to be output at the end of the Section, with a Section break above wherever you want them to appear.

Adding to what Paul has said, "footnotes" in Word must be at the bottom of the page in which the reference appears. Endnotes can be at the end of sections or at the end of the document.

Thanks to both of you for your answers!

Follow up q: If I decide to use end notes, can footnotes and end notes be used simultaneously? (ie both in the same text)

and in that case, can the numbers be adjusted so that some end notes numbers fit in to the footnote sequence? Like this:

footnote 1
footnote 2
end note 3
end note 4
footnote 5

(and there is no end note 1, 2 and no footnote 3,4)

Regards
Kungen

You can use both, but their numberings are independent and cannot readily be interspersed the way you propose. By default, footnotes use Arabic numerals, endnotes use roman numerals. The defaults can be changed, though.
