Default Try 2 on my problem

I tried to copy illustrations showing my problem into my posting, but the pictures did not make it into the posting when viewed it on line. the following is a textual description.

My document is 120 pages in length with Times New Roman 10 font and all margins set as .75 inches. When I open the document the page displays with the proper margins. After about 20 seconds the right margin jumps in to 3 inches.

If I open a new word document and set the margins to .75 inches and copy a small portion of my original document after the right margin has jumped in to 3 inches to a new document set for .75 inch margins the margins in the new document margins display at .75 inches.

If I select all and copy the the entire original document showing the 3 inch right margin into the new document set to .75 inch margins the right margin will display with a 3 inch right margin.

I'll attach before and after pictures to illustrate my problem.before change 1.JPG

Your margins are not changing! What you're seeing is the effect of having Word being configured to show tracked changes and/or comments in balloons instead of inline. See under Review|Show Markup>Baloons.
