Changing Hanging indent
I have a document where certain paragraphs have a hanging indent of 2.5cm. I wish to change this globally to 3.0cm. Is it possible to do this?
I am using MS Word 2007. Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 02-10-2020 at 06:39 AM. Reason: Make it clear which version of MS Word I am using. |

Well, if the hanging indents are controlled by a Style definition - which they should be, it's simply a matter of changing the hanging indent setting for that Style.
PS: Your user profile already says you're using Word 2007, but the Word version is of no consequence in this case.

Thank you for the advice. The document does not have a style - which it should. I have however found that a global "replace" can do the job.

All Word documents use Styles. In your document's case, it seems whoever created it ignored their proper use.
