Over reliance on auto save?
I opened up a .txt document in Word, marked it up a bunch, and then saved a copy of it as a .pdf. Prior to the Adobe export file, Adobe alerted me that Adobe must save the original file being worked on and marked up in Word365. So Adobe saved the same file format as .txt and all my markups had gone away. Where is the recovery file, if any? And, I am assuming because I never initially before marking up and printing, never saved the file as .docx is the reason it never autosaved?

1. AutoSave only works for files saved on OneDrive (or SharePoint).
2. See Automatically backup Word documents by Graham Mayor, MVP |
