Hi everyone,
I have a long word document with headers that go until level 6. The problem is that specifically for level 4, the numbering is set to a value and cant find a way to set to be number automatically like the rest. For example. Numbering is going correctly for the first time a header in level 4 is entered: 3.1.3 3.1.3.1 3.1.3.2 . . . 3.1.4 The problem is that when creating another section in level 4, it would go like this: 4.1.1 4.1.3.1 (Wrong, should be 4.1.1.1) 4.1.2 (Correct) This problems replicate to every level 4, it only matches of course when the level 3 , is a value of 3, for example X.X.3.X The problem doesn't replicate when you go to a further level (level 5), here is another example of what is happening: 4.4.1 4.4.3.1 (Wrong, should be 4.4.1.1) 4.4.3.2 (Wrong, should be 4.4.1.2) 4.4.3.3 (Wrong, should be 4.4.1.3) 4.4.3.4 (Wrong, should be 4.4.1.4) 4.4.3.5 (Wrong, should be 4.4.1.5) 4.4.3.6 (Wrong, should be 4.4.1.6) 4.4.3.7 (Wrong, should be 4.4.1.7) 4.4.1.7.1 (Correct, following what should be the logic) 4.4.3.8 (Wrong again, should be 4.4.1.8) 4.4.2 (Correct) Anyone has an idea how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance |
