QR codes in Word
Hi,
I found out that MS Word can create QR codes. [MS-OI29500]: DISPLAYBARCODE | Microsoft Docs Now, I want to use this QR code on invoice documents to urge people paying them. Interestingly, there is a document available from the European Payments Council that specifies how those QR codes have to look like. This is posted on this website here: Quick Response Code: Guidelines to Enable Data Capture for the Initiation of a SEPA Credit Transfer | European Payments Council Question: I don't have much knowledge about the QR code feature in MS Word and would like to know whether it complies with those European Union regulations. Would be happy if somebody could help. Many thanks, Ludwig |

I have no idea whether it complies. The page you found is the only documentation that I know about. It was written before the European Payments Council wrote its standard, I believe.
I suspect you may want to use the MERGEBARCODE field instead, at least if this is part of a merge. Otherwise, you may want to look at my Bar Code Add-In which inserts the DISPLAYBARCODE field and sets the switches. |
