File Size Too Large

Thank you very much guys... this problem is solved ! BUT, unfortunately I encounter now another problem: working on the headers/footers I suddenly got an Word error message telling me that the size of my file is too large... (error message attached); sorry but this message is in french as I am working on a french catalog. The file I was working on contains only 44 pages with plenty of illustrations for a total size of 12,5 Mo... Probably I can recover that file but I am afraid that when I will have to assemble all eight files (each about the same size) of the catalog it will give me troubles doing so in DocX format... perhaps it would be more appropriate tu work with PDF files ??? Can you please help to finalize the book ?
