What wild card set up would separate a colon followed by letters but not by numbers?
Example:
We answer:By grace, through Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:2), Last edited by CrossReach; 11-26-2019 at 01:08 PM. Reason: Was converting :D into a smiley face |

Try a wildcard Find/Replace with:
Code:
Find = (\:)([A-Za-z]) Replace = \1 \2

That worked great thanks. And if wanted to remove the colons in between letters rather than separate them. Would that be possible?

Simply omit the \1.
