William647 is on a distinguished road
Unhappy Cannot See Margins

Is there a way to make the margins visible while I work, on my document?

I recommend not using Text Boundaries unless you are using Word 2010 or earlier.

Yep, I agree that the text boundaries are a massive annoyance in the more recent versions of Word.

The crop marks alone might be adequate for William647's purposes

The first thing to do is make sure that you are looking at your document in Print Layout view (View > Print Layout).
